Dillis & Roy has extensive experience in the design and permitting of small public water supply systems. From bedrock and gravel pack well development, to booster station design, to water distribution system layout to small scale water treatment, our Engineers have successfully developed, permitted and implemented small public water supply systems in accordance with the Massachusetts Public Drinking Water Regulations.

Key Project

Southwick’s Zoo

The Southwick’s Zoo was experiencing issues with system reliability due to a water pump system that had reached its functional life. Engineers at D&D designed a new Booster Station which satisfied the stringent requirements for reliability of the Zoo. The system utilized atmospheric storage tanks, a variable frequency drive booster pump system to provide both redundancy and energy efficiency all housed in a new pump house for easy access.
